Outreach
Beyond everyday research interests, CAED faculty participate in two large endeavors that cover both research and outreach to the North East Ohio community. The Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative (CUDC) combines the outreach efforts of the Urban Design Center of Northeast Ohio with CAED’s graduate studies program in urban design.

Research
The Environmental Design Research Unit (EDRU) is the research service unit for the College of Architecture and Environmental Design. Located at Kent, the unit assists the research efforts of faculty, students, and others interested in the design and planning of the built environment.
