Laser Cutter

$1.00 per minute of laser cutting (first 10 minutes) - $.50 per minute thereafter – no setup fee* (see bottom of page)

Example:

15 minutes of laser cutting would cost $12.50
($1.00x10) + ($.50x5) = $12.50

Color Plotter

Save your file as a .psd or .pdf
Please flatten all .psd files prior to having your file printed.

$9.00 per linear foot

Examples:

A 24”x36” print would cost $18.00
A 40”x84” print would cost $63.00

Scanner

There will be a flat rate charge of $1.50 per drawing scanned at a Maximum of 300 dpi

Use of the scanner does not require signing up on the Waiting List.

*In an effort to minimize laser cutting delays, the following policy has been implemented:  No setup fee will be charged if the laser cutting format guide – located at www.caed.kent.edu/computing/laserguide.html has been followed.  If this guide is not followed and extensive time is required to properly format your file, you may be charged a $10.00 setup fee (at the Print Room employee’s discretion).  You will be notified in advance if your file requires a setup fee.
